The Special Abbey Lee issue of LOVEWANT was conceived as a single-subject fanzine. One issue, one amazing woman, one point of view.
Rather than approaching Abbey as simply a model, the issue looks at the mythology that has formed around her over almost two decades in fashion, image-making, film and culture. A face that has moved between runway, cinema and underground fashion while remaining distinctly her own.
The issue brings together new photography, archive, conversations and fashion as a kind of visual study of Abbey Lee. Both biography, obsession and fanzine.
